Four Soils Ministry provides a free Bible Study program available worldwide.....The Bible study program is a available to anyone, anywhere, free of charge...The Bible study program from Four Soils Ministry leads to four different certificates depending on the desire of the student.

Bible Study of John

Upon completion of the Bible study of the book of John you should understand why John (presents Christ as the Son of God). The Gospel of John is different from the Synoptic Gospels, not only in content, but in focus. John's focus is that Jesus the great "I AM" of the Old Testament come in the flesh.

Our outline and study concentrates upon the subject of the seven "I AM" statements of Christ starting with the thought "before abraham was I AM" and Abraham saw my day and rejoiced."

Just as Paul said his focus was upon the message "Jesus Christ and Him crucified", John's is focuses upon the purpose "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."(John 20:31)

Bible Study of John (2)

The purpose of Bible study and specificly the study of Gospel of John is first of all that we might believe and receive eternal life and then the Holy Spirit use the Scripture "to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. The ?Word of God? straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. The ?Word of God? is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipping us for every good thing God wants us to do.

In Psalms we find that the ?Word of God? says that if we will study (hide in our hearts) the word of God, we will not sin against God. It also says that the ?Word of God? should be a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths. Both these verses imply that if we meditate upon the ?Word of God? we will not stumble into sin.

As we study the book of John our faith in God and His word should been strengthened since the Bible states ?faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.?

During this Bible study of John you will be exposed to many of the key Christian doctrines and the basic tools of Biblical interpretation and presentation. Each student should become a more thoughtful interpreter of the Bible as they meditate upon God?s Holy Word.

Bottom line for the Bible study course on the Gospel of is that the student should increase their knowledge of Christ, of the Bible as a whole, and of God, while they are developing a stronger Biblical Worldview.

Bible Study of John (4)

Each Bible study lesson of the Four Soils Ministry Bible School's study of John contains ten questions, with most questions requiring a brief written response. A person who is familiar with the book of John will find they can complete most lessons can in a few hours.

Students are encouraged to set a goal to complete at least one lesson per week, however this is not mandatory.

The structure of Four Soils Ministry?s free Bible Study and philosophy of Four Soils Ministry?s free Bible School allows for each student to proceed at their own rate of speed with out impacting the process of others..

Bible Study of John (5)

Course Procedures:

(1) Each Bible Study lesson of John is sent by email to the student. The Students can interact with their instructor by email to ask questions, make comments, or ect.

(2) Each Bible Study lesson of Gospel of John when completed is returned to Four Soils Ministry by the Internet for grading.

(3) Each Bible Study lesson of John is graded pass or fail by an instructor, comments will be sent back to the student.

(4) The role of Four Soils Ministry is to provide structure, encouragement, and feedback. The learning and effort is the responsibility of the student.

(5) The next Bible study Lesson in John will be sent to the student after a passing grade is obtained on the previous Lesson. If a student?s response to a lesson is not satisfactory ( a passing response), the student will be notified and given suggestions on how to obtain a passing grade. The student cannot receive the next Lesson in Genesis until a passing grade is achieved.








All lessons for the John study is now available on the website by way of the lesson links on the right. If a student is take the course for credit they must send each lesson for evaluation All lessons must be reviewed to receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are only issued after all lessons for all twelve modules (120 lessons) are received.

We suggest that each student create a hard copy of each lesson. This will become a valuable resource as the course of study progresses.

Acknowledgment and Feedback will be given on all inquires and lessons submitted.

Four Soils Ministry's free Bible School is designed for those who are called of God into a Preaching, Bible Teaching, Christian Counseling, or Discipleship ministry, but cannot attend a traditional Bible School or Seminary.
